Kegerator kit to install one or two beer taps in a fridge

Turn a compatible fridge into a draft beer system with this installation Kegerator kit. It’s available for 1 or 2 taps and includes the front plate, tray, taps, tubing and connections needed to set up the service point.

Important: the fridge is not included. The keg must remain refrigerated inside a suitable fridge or cold room.

What the kit includes

  • Kegerator stainless steel plate.
  • Drip tray/drip pan.
  • Alpha L55 tap with compensator and 3/8" John Guest connection.
  • Lupulus II 3/8" beer line: 1 m in 1‑tap version / 2 m in 2‑tap version.
  • Poly SK 3/8" air or gas tube: 2 m / 3 m depending on version.
  • John Guest equal T 3/8" connector for gas or air supply in the corresponding version.
  • Optional keg coupler with 3/8" John Guest outlet.

Available versions

Version Plate width Height Tray
1 tap 21 cm 40 cm 21 × 16 × 2.5 cm
2 taps 38 cm 40 cm 36 × 16 × 2.5 cm

In both versions, the center of the tap hole is 33 cm high. In the two‑tap version the holes are 18 cm apart.

What you need in addition to the kit

  • A fridge or cold room with enough space for the keg.
  • The keg and the compatible coupler with its valve.
  • A pressure source: usually CO₂ or, in compatible systems such as certain bag‑in‑keg formats, compressed air.
  • Regulator and gas accessories suitable for the system used.

Installation

The surface where the tap is installed must be drilled with a hole of approximately 22 mm. You must also prepare a pass-through for the air/CO₂ tube of approximately 10 mm (3/8"). Before drilling a fridge, check that the chosen area does not contain cooling circuits, wiring or other internal elements.

Which keg coupler do I need?

It depends on the keg valve: Sankey S, D, U, A, G, M, KeyKeg or other systems are not interchangeable. If you indicate the brand or type of keg you are going to use, Install Beer can help you select the correct coupler.

Frequently asked questions

Does it include the fridge?
No. This product is the installation kit to turn a compatible fridge into a Kegerator.

Can I fit two taps?
Yes. There is a specific two‑tap variant.

Does it include the keg coupler?
It’s optional, because it must be chosen according to the keg valve.

Do I need CO₂?
In most conventional beer systems, yes. The correct pressure and gas depend on the product, temperature and type of keg.

Can I install it myself?
It’s possible with the right tools, but before drilling you must check that there are no refrigerant lines or wiring in the chosen area.
