Subscription and recurring delivery policy
This policy governs purchases made by subscription, automatic renewal or recurring delivery of Install Beer products.
Before taking out a subscription, the customer may review the product, the frequency, the price per billing period, taxes, shipping costs, any discounts, the form of renewal and the conditions for modification and cancellation.
Subscriptions are also governed by the Terms and Conditions of Contracting , the Shipping Conditions, Rates and Delivery Times and the Withdrawal, Returns and Refunds Policy .

2. Scope of application
This policy applies to products whose product page includes a recurring purchase option, such as:
- “Subscribe”.
- “Subscribe and save.”
- “Recurring delivery.”
- “Recurring purchase”.
- Another equivalent name.
The mere availability of a product in the store does not mean that it can be purchased by subscription.
The specific conditions shown on the product page, frequency selector, cart, checkout, and confirmation form part of the subscription contract.
If a specific condition contradicts this policy, it will prevail with respect to the particular aspect it governs, provided it has been clearly communicated before contracting and does not reduce the consumer’s mandatory rights.
3. What a subscription is
A subscription is a purchasing method whereby Install Beer generates orders periodically according to the frequency chosen by the customer.
Unless the product page expressly indicates a fixed duration, a commitment period, or a limited number of deliveries, the subscription will be for an indefinite period and will continue until it is cancelled.
In each cycle, the corresponding amount will be charged using the authorized payment method. Once the charge is completed, the corresponding recurring order will be generated.
The subscription does not necessarily mean that the price, taxes or logistics costs will remain unchanged indefinitely. Any changes will be made in accordance with this policy and communicated before they affect a new cycle.
4. Available products
Subscriptions are only offered for the products, variants, markets and frequencies that are expressly enabled.
Their availability may depend on:
- The product and its variant.
- The country or delivery area.
- Stock levels and continuity of the manufacturer.
- The payment method.
- The weight and volume of the shipment.
- Logistical or customs restrictions.
- Compatibility with promotions or other purchase options.
Install Beer may stop offering new subscriptions for a product without this automatically affecting those already active.
If a product becomes unavailable for an existing subscription, the procedure set out in the Availability and substitutions section will apply.
5. Contracting and confirmation
To sign up for a subscription, the customer must:
- Select an eligible product.
- Choose the subscription option.
- Select the available frequency.
- Check the price and the discount, where applicable.
- Add the product to the cart.
Provide contact, billing and delivery details.
- Select a compatible payment method.
- Review the summary of the first order and the recurrence.
- Accept the applicable terms.
- Confirm purchase with payment obligation.
Before confirming, clear information will be provided about:
- The product and quantity.
- The delivery and billing frequency.
- The price applicable to the first cycle.
- The price or method of calculating subsequent cycles.
- Taxes.
- The known shipping costs.
- Duration and renewal.
- How to cancel.
- The existence of a commitment period, if there is one in exceptional cases.
After contracting, the customer will receive electronic confirmation with the essential details of the subscription on a medium they can retain.
6. Duration and renewal
Open-ended subscriptions
Unless otherwise indicated, Install Beer subscriptions are open-ended and renew automatically each period until they are cancelled.
The customer may request cancellation at any time to avoid future cycles, without penalty, provided there is no minimum term that has been expressly communicated and accepted.
Fixed-term subscriptions
When a subscription has a specific number of deliveries, an end date, or a minimum duration, this information will be shown before you sign up.
If a fixed-term contract is subject to renewal, Install Beer will inform the consumer, within the legally required advance period, about:
- Expiry of the period for giving notice of non-renewal.
- The deadline for cancelling it.
- The consequences of not requesting cancellation.
As a general rule, this communication will be made at least fifteen days before the deadline for notifying the intention not to renew.
No commitment period
A subscription will not have a minimum term, cancellation penalty or minimum number of cycles unless expressly stated before purchase.
7. Frequency and billing date
The available frequency will be shown on the product page and may include, for example:
- Every two weeks.
- Every month.
- Every two months.
- Every three months.
- Another enabled frequency.
The expected date of the next order or charge can be checked in the customer account, in the subscription management area or in the communications sent by Install Beer.
The date may be adjusted slightly due to:
- Months with a different number of days.
- Weekends or public holidays.
- Payment retries.
- Skipped pauses or cycles.
- Changes authorized by the customer.
- Stock or transport issues.
A change in the operational date will not permanently modify the frequency unless this is stated and accepted.
8. Price, taxes and shipping costs
Before contracting, the total cost corresponding to the billing period will be shown and, when it cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, the way in which it will be determined.
The summary will indicate:
- The price of the product.
- The subscription discount, where applicable.
- The applicable taxes.
- Shipping costs.
- Any other known and mandatory cost.
Install Beer may display prices both excluding and including VAT at the same time, especially to make it easier for businesses and consumers to consult them.
The final contractual amount will be the one shown before confirming each order, or the one validly communicated prior to a modification.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs may:
- Be included in the price.
- Apply at each renewal.
- Depending on the order amount.
- Vary depending on destination, weight, or volume.
The applicable processing will be shown before purchase and any subsequent changes will be communicated before affecting the next cycle.
Taxes
The applicable tax may change if the customer modifies the country, delivery address, tax status or VAT number.
Intra-Community transactions or exports will be subject to compliance with the corresponding tax and documentary requirements.
9. Discounts and promotions
A subscription may include a discount compared to a one‑off purchase.
The discount may be:
- Permanent while the subscription remains active.
- Applicable for a limited number of cycles.
- Valid only for the first order.
- Dependent on a specific frequency or quantity.
- Part of a temporary campaign.
The product page or checkout will indicate the essential conditions of the discount.
When the discount is temporary, the end of the promotional period and the subsequent price must be shown before contracting.
General coupons may not be compatible with subscriptions. Any incompatibility will be shown during the purchase process or in the promotion terms.
The end of a promotion does not allow a higher price to be applied retroactively to cycles that have already been charged.
10. Authorization for recurring payment
By taking out a subscription, the customer authorizes Install Beer and the relevant payment provider to automatically charge the amount of each cycle to the selected payment method.
The authorization will remain in force until:
- The subscription is cancelled.
- Its agreed duration ends.
- The payment method ceases to be valid.
- Install Beer justifiably terminates the subscription.
The payment method is normally stored using a secure identifier or token managed by Shopify and the payment providers.
Install Beer does not directly store full card numbers when they are entered in the secure environments of the payment gateways.
Not all payment methods available for one-off purchases are necessarily compatible with recurring charges.
11. Failed payments
If a charge cannot be completed due to insufficient funds, expired card, authentication, bank block or any other reason, Shopify or Install Beer may make new attempts to collect payment.
The customer may receive a communication to update or replace the payment method.
While payment remains outstanding:
- The new order may not be generated.
- Preparation and delivery will be suspended.
- The subscription may remain pending or paused.
If all configured retries fail, Install Beer may:
- Skip that cycle.
- Pause the subscription.
- Cancel the subscription.
The customer will be informed of the measure applied via the email or channel associated with the subscription.
Install Beer will not apply a penalty for the mere failure of a payment, without prejudice to any banking costs or liabilities that may arise from fraudulent activity.
12. Subscription management
When the feature is enabled, the customer will be able to manage the subscription from:
- Your customer account.
- The management link included in subscription emails.
- Install Beer’s customer service channels.
Depending on the configuration and the product, you may be able to:
- View subscription details.
- View previous and upcoming orders.
- Update the payment method.
- Change the delivery address.
- Skip a delivery.
- Pause or resume the subscription.
- Change certain products or quantities.
- Change the frequency.
- Cancel the subscription.
If an option does not appear in the account, the customer may request it from Install Beer. Its availability will depend on the product, the status of the order and the time when the request is made.
13. Cancellation
The customer may cancel an open‑ended subscription at any time to avoid future charges.
Cancellation can be carried out by:
- The customer account, when the feature is enabled.
- The management link included in the emails.
- Email to info@installbeer.com .
- Telephone: +34 93 346 46 56.
To identify it, it is recommended to indicate:
- Subscription or order number.
- Name of the holder.
- Email address used.
Cancellation will take effect for cycles whose charge has not yet been processed.
To avoid the next charge, the cancellation must be recorded before Shopify or the payment provider initiates collection for the next cycle.
The expected date of the next charge can be checked in the account or in subscription communications. When no exact time is shown, it is advisable to submit the request before the renewal date.
Install Beer will confirm the cancellation on a durable medium. Lack of access to the account will not prevent requesting it through the support channels.
Unless a valid commitment period has been expressly communicated, cancellation will not incur any penalty.
14. Orders already placed
Canceling the subscription stops future renewals, but does not automatically cancel an order whose payment has already been processed.
If the customer requests cancellation after the charge:
- Install Beer will try to stop the order if it has not yet been prepared or dispatched.
- If it can be cancelled, the corresponding refund will be issued.
- If it has already been shipped, the applicable withdrawal or return conditions will apply.
The fact that the system has generated an order does not limit the consumer’s legal rights when it can still be cancelled, withdrawn from, or a lack of conformity can be claimed.
15. Pausing and skipping deliveries
Where the subscription allows, the customer may:
- Pause it temporarily.
- Skip an upcoming delivery.
- Resume it later.
A paused subscription will not generate new orders during the pause period, unless a cycle had already been processed before it was requested.
Skipping a delivery normally affects only one cycle and keeps the subscription active for the following ones.
The resumption date or the next cycle will be shown in the account or confirmed by email.
The pause does not extend a promotion limited by date unless its terms state otherwise.
16. Changes requested by the customer
Before the next charge, the customer may request, when the configuration allows:
- Change of address.
- Change of payment method.
- Change of frequency.
- Change of quantity.
- Adding or removing products.
- Change of variant.
The change may affect:
- The price.
- The discount.
- Taxes.
- Shipping costs.
- The date of the next renewal.
Before confirming a change that increases the amount, the customer will be informed of the new cost and their acceptance will be requested where applicable.
If the order has already been generated or prepared, the change may be applied to the next cycle.
17. Changes in prices or terms
Install Beer will not retroactively modify the price of cycles that have already been invoiced, nor will it unilaterally apply essential changes without informing the customer in advance.
The price or future conditions may be reviewed for reasons such as:
- Changes in the manufacturer’s or supplier’s price.
- Changes in taxes or regulatory costs.
- Significant changes in transport.
- Change in the product’s format, quantity, or composition.
- End of a previously announced promotion.
- Modification or replacement of the subscription service.
When the change is unfavorable or significant, Install Beer will communicate, before it takes effect:
- The nature of the change.
- The new price or condition.
- The date from which it will apply.
- The right to cancel before the next charge.
Communication will be made by email, notice in the account or another durable medium.
If the customer does not wish to continue, they may cancel without penalty before the first affected charge is processed.
Price reductions or improvements that do not harm the customer may be applied directly.
18. Availability and substitutions
The existence of a subscription does not guarantee an unlimited reservation of stock for its entire duration.
If the product is not available in a cycle, Install Beer may:
- Delay the order until restocking.
- Skip the cycle.
- Temporarily pause the subscription.
- Offer an alternative product.
- Cancel the subscription if the product is discontinued.
A product will not be replaced by another with different characteristics without informing the customer and obtaining their acceptance.
If a product that ultimately cannot be supplied has been charged, Install Beer will refund the corresponding amount without undue delay.
Acceptance of a substitution will not necessarily imply a permanent change to the subscription, unless expressly stated otherwise.
19. Preparation and delivery
Each order generated by a subscription will be prepared and shipped in accordance with the logistics conditions in force and the information communicated before charging.
Delivery times usually start from dispatch, not from the attempted charge.
The costs, zones, carriers and indicative delivery times are set out in the Shipping terms, rates and delivery times .
The customer must keep the following up to date:
- The name of the recipient.
- The delivery address.
- The phone number.
- Email address.
- Tax and customs data when necessary.
The actual costs arising from an incorrect address, failed delivery or lack of documentation attributable to the customer may be passed on when they have been communicated and are legally applicable.
20. Withdrawal and returns
Cancelling future renewals and withdrawing from a purchase are different actions.
Cancellation prevents future cycles. Withdrawal allows the consumer to terminate a contract or return certain orders within the legal period, where applicable.
The period and effects of withdrawal from the initial contract and from recurring orders will be determined in accordance with:
- The type of product.
- The method of contracting.
- The delivery date.
- The legally applicable exceptions.
- Whether the customer is a consumer or a professional client.
Full information can be consulted in the Withdrawal, returns and refunds policy .
Cancelling the subscription does not automatically refund orders that have been correctly delivered or products already consumed.
This provision does not limit rights in the event of an incorrect, damaged, defective or non-conforming product.
21. Warranty and non-conforming products
Products received by subscription come with the applicable legal or contractual warranty.
If an order arrives incomplete, damaged, incorrect or with a lack of conformity, the customer must report it to Install Beer.
When the issue is attributable to Install Beer, the legally applicable repair, replacement, correction, price reduction, termination or refund will be offered.
Full information is available in Statutory warranty and after-sales service.
22. Consumers, businesses and professionals
Consumers
When the subscriber acts as a consumer, they will retain the non-waivable rights recognized by the applicable regulations.
No condition in this policy limits your rights to information, cancellation, withdrawal, conformity, refund or complaint.
Businesses and professionals
Subscriptions taken out mainly for a business, professional, hospitality, industrial, or commercial activity will also be governed by the accepted B2B terms.
Business customers do not automatically have the statutory right of withdrawal reserved for consumers.
This does not affect your rights in relation to errors, defects, breaches, or applicable contractual warranties.
23. International subscriptions
The availability of a subscription depends on the country, product, payment method, currency and enabled transport service.
Install Beer may choose not to offer subscriptions in destinations where:
There is no viable recurring logistics fee.
- The product is subject to transport restrictions.
- Taxes or customs duties cannot be handled properly.
- The payment method does not support recurring charges.
- There are limitations imposed by the manufacturer or distributor.
For shipments outside the corresponding tax territory, import taxes, tariffs, customs clearance, and other charges may apply to each delivery.
Before enabling an international subscription, information will be provided on who assumes those costs or on the impossibility of calculating them in advance.
European consumers will retain the mandatory protections applicable in their country of residence.
24. Personal data and communications
To manage a subscription, Install Beer will process data such as:
- Identity and contact details.
- Delivery and billing address.
- Products and frequency.
- Subscription status.
- Order and payment history.
- Reference or token of the payment method.
- Communications and management requests.
This data will be used to carry out the subscription, process orders, manage payments, send notices, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

25. Termination by Install Beer
Install Beer may terminate or suspend a subscription for an objective reason, such as:
- Permanent withdrawal of the product.
- Ongoing impossibility of supply.
- Repeated payment failure.
- Fraudulent or abusive use.
- Destination or use contrary to the law.
- Logistical, regulatory or manufacturer restrictions.
- Technical impossibility of maintaining the service.
Install Beer will inform the customer by means of a durable medium and will not make further charges after termination.
If a cycle has been charged that cannot be supplied, the corresponding amount will be refunded.
Termination will not affect orders already delivered, warranties or outstanding obligations.
26. Liability
Install Beer will respond in accordance with the applicable legislation and the obligations assumed in the subscription.
It will not be liable for delays or failures to perform caused exclusively by:
- Incorrect delivery data not updated by the customer.
- Rejection of the payment method by the financial institution.
- Failure by the importer to comply with customs obligations.
Incorrect use of the products.
- Force majeure circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
These exclusions will only apply where there is a causal link with the incident and no liability can be legally attributed to Install Beer.
No clause limits the inalienable rights of consumers or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

28. Updating this policy
Install Beer may update this policy to adapt it to legal, technical, logistical or subscription‑platform‑related changes.
The version applicable to each cycle will be the one in force at the time of its renewal, provided that any unfavorable or substantial change has been communicated in advance.
Changes will not be applied retroactively to orders that have already been charged or delivered.
If the change requires consent, Install Beer will request acceptance before applying it.
29. Governing law and jurisdiction
This policy is generally governed by Spanish law and by the directly applicable regulations of the European Union.
Consumers
The choice of Spanish law will not deprive the consumer of the protection granted by the mandatory provisions applicable in their country of residence.
Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with the applicable regulations, without mandatorily imposing the courts of Barcelona on the consumer when another jurisdiction legally applies.
Businesses and professionals
In B2B relationships, the parties submit to the courts of Barcelona, unless another jurisdiction has been agreed or a different mandatory rule applies.
30. Frequently asked questions
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, when the subscription is of indefinite duration and there is no minimum term expressly communicated. The cancellation will apply to future charges that have not yet been processed.
Do I have to give 48 hours’ notice?
A general 48-hour period is not imposed. The cancellation must be recorded before the charge for the next cycle is initiated. To avoid issues, it is recommended to request it before the renewal date shown in the account.
Does canceling automatically refund the last charge?
Not necessarily. If the order can still be stopped, we will try to cancel it. If it has already been shipped, the applicable withdrawal or return conditions will apply.
Can I pause the subscription?
Yes, when the feature is enabled for that subscription. You can also request it from customer service.
Can I skip a delivery?
Yes, when the configuration allows it and the request is made before the charge for the affected cycle is processed.
What happens if the price changes?
Install Beer will give notice before applying an increase to a new cycle. The customer may cancel before the first affected charge.
What happens if there is no stock?
Install Beer may delay, skip or pause the cycle. An alternative different product will not be sent without the customer’s acceptance.
What happens if the payment fails?
The system may make new attempts and request that the payment method be updated. If it is not completed, the subscription may be paused, skipped or cancelled.
Do subscriptions have shipping costs?
It depends on the product, amount and destination. The cost will be shown before contracting and any change will be communicated before it is applied.
Can a company cancel the subscription?
Yes, in accordance with the agreed duration and conditions. Businesses do not have the legal right of withdrawal reserved for consumers, unless expressly granted as a commercial concession.
