Installation and considerations before buying

• Install the box in a suitable location with mechanical protection.
• The cover is of the rotary type and opens 1/8 turn counterclockwise to access the mounting screw.
• Before purchasing, confirm whether your project really needs an external relay box or only a horn/strobe or local signaling.
• Check whether activation should be direct or with a 9.5-second delay.
• Also check whether the external equipment needs dry contacts or must receive V‑ or V+ on the common, because the manufacturer allows adjustments via jumpers.
• If you are going to connect it to a fire alarm panel, it’s advisable to define clearly which relay will operate on pre‑alarm and which on high alarm.

Recommended maintenance and use

As an integration accessory, it is advisable to periodically check the condition of the RJ45 cable, the mechanical mounting, the enclosure closure and the DIP-switch and jumper logic, especially after interventions or system expansions.

It is also advisable to carry out controlled activation tests to verify that the selected relay behaves with the expected logic and the correct delay.
