Why Lindr is such a good fit for professional dispensing

Lindr stands out for offering a very wide range of draft dispensing solutions: from portable units to undercounter systems, mobile setups, or equipment specifically designed for water and other beverages. The key is not just the unit itself, but choosing the right family and pairing it with the appropriate system.

  • Compact models for mobility and quick start-up
  • /K versions for scenarios with no CO₂ available
  • Options for CO₂ or mixed-gas installations in professional environments
  • Systems for beer, water, nitro coffee and other beverages on tap
  • Scalable solutions from home/office to horeca and events

How to choose your Lindr without wasting time

1) Define the scenario

  • Home or private use
  • Office or showroom
  • Event or catering
  • Bar, restaurant or hotel

2) Calculate the pace

  • Normal consumption
  • Service peaks
  • Glasses/h or L/h
  • Glass size

3) Define the system

  • 1 or several lines
  • Countertop or undercounter
  • Mobile or fixed
  • Installation distance

4) Assess the gas

  • /K with built-in compressor
  • CO₂
  • Blend
  • Configuration by drink

Rule of thumb: size for sustained service, not just for a maximum figure or for the price. An undersized unit usually ends up costing you in foam, waste, downtime and poor user experience.

Lindr comparison by solution families

With a broad range like Lindr, it’s usually more useful to choose by product family and use case than by an isolated model name.

Family Common examples Main fit Gas / configuration When to prioritize it
Pygmy / Pygmy Pro Pygmy 20/K, 25, 25/K, 35/K Profi, Pro Kitchen Home, office, moderate events, showroom /K or gas installation depending on version and drink When you want portability, a compact format and quick setup
Kontakt Kontakt 40, 40/K, 55/K, 60/K Vision, 70, 70/K, 155, 300 Twin Professional bar, horeca, medium/high peaks CO₂, blend or /K depending on model When you need more consistency, margin and professional service
DryWet / undercounter DryWet 70K H4, DryWet 150K H4 Profi Technical underbar installation and integrated projects Configuration according to installation and drink When integration, distance and venue operations are decisive
Mobile CWP units CWP 200, CWP 300 Events, catering, high service volume in mobile format Professional configuration according to project When you need capacity and mobility with a more robust structure
Water / nitro / specials Pygmy Soda, Pygmy Soda Exclusive, Pygmy 25 Exclusive Nitro / Cold Brew Treated water, nitro coffee, specialty drinks on tap Specific configuration by drink When you’re not setting up a classic beer line and the system changes

Quick conversion from glasses/h to L/h

100 glasses/h of 200 ml ≈ 20 L/h. 100 glasses/h of 300 ml ≈ 30 L/h. If you tell us the glass size and real peak, we can refine the recommendation more accurately.

What tends to fail most often

It’s rarely the “brand” that fails; it’s usually the sizing, the gas, the line length, the type of drink or the lack of maintenance.

Lindr by sector and application

The right choice changes quite a bit depending on the environment, the drink and the work pace.

Bar / Pub / Restaurant

Stable service, handling of peak demand and foam control. It’s usually worth considering Kontakt or more technical installation-based solutions.

Hotel / Hospitality / Fast food

Operational continuity, consistency of service and ease of maintenance matter.

Events / Catering / Trade fairs

Fast setup, portability and simple operation. In most cases Pygmy, /K versions or mobile units are the best fit depending on scale.

Home / Office / Showroom

Moderate consumption, compact format, and simple commissioning. Very interesting for Pygmy, Pro Kitchen, and water.

Wineries and beverage producers

Each drink requires the right materials, gas, and temperatures. Beer, vermouth, wine, kombucha, or cocktails are not the same.

Water and nitro coffee

When the application is not beer, it’s worth changing the technical approach: equipment family, consumables, pressure, and configuration.

Why Install Beer for Lindr

Lindr FAQs: models, gas, foam, uses and compatibilities

What’s the difference between Pygmy, Kontakt, DryWet and CWP?
They are different families. Pygmy prioritizes compactness and mobility; Kontakt is more geared towards professional service; DryWet is a better fit for underbar installations; and CWP meets higher-level mobile needs.
What does “/K” mean in Lindr?
In many models it indicates the version with built-in compressor, useful when CO₂ is not available. The real convenience depends on the drink and the scenario.
Is Lindr only for beer?
No. There are also applications for water, nitro coffee, cold brew and other beverages on tap. The key is to adapt materials, gas, temperature and configuration.
Which family is best for a bar or restaurant?
It is often evaluated Kontakt or a more technical installation solution, but the decision depends on service peak, number of lines, space available and type of drink.
Which family usually works best for events or catering?
At many events they work very well Pygmy or versions /K. For larger or more demanding coverage, it may make more sense to move up to mobile solutions on a different scale.
How do you reduce foam and waste?
With the right combination of gas, pressure, temperature, line length/diameter, cleaning and sizing. Foam is rarely solved just by “changing the machine.”
Can I use the same installation logic for beer, water and nitro?
Not exactly. Each beverage may require a different approach in terms of materials, gas, regulation and serving method. That’s why it’s important to confirm system compatibility before buying.
What do you need from me to recommend a specific model?
Intended use, beverage, peak service, number of lines, gas available, type of keg or connection, and whether it will be countertop, portable, mobile or under-bar.
Do you only sell product, or do you also help with installation and maintenance?
We can help you both with the selection and supply as in the commissioning, compatibilities, maintenance, and technical support.
What happens if the reference I need is not in stock?
If it’s not available for immediate dispatch, we can look into factory-managed supply depending on model and availability.
