Step 1 of 7

Question 1 of 7

Where are you going to use it?

The usage environment defines the type of unit you need.

Question 2 of 7

How many people do you usually serve?

This tells us the flow rate you need and the appropriate unit size.

Question 3 of 7

How long is the keg usually tapped for?

This detail is key to choosing between integrated compressor or CO₂.

Question 4 of 7

Which system do you prefer?

If you’re not clear about the difference, the dropdown below explains it in seconds.

The key difference, without jargon

⚡ Integrated compressor

The unit has the pressure system built in. Plug it in, insert the keg, and you’re ready. More convenient to get started, ideal if the keg is consumed within 1–3 days. Air pushes the beer out but can alter the flavor if the keg lasts longer.

🌿 CO₂

Uses a CO₂ bottle to push the beer. It requires a small external bottle, but better preserves the beer for days or weeks. Essential if the keg won’t be finished the same day.

Question 5 of 7

One or two taps?

Two taps let you serve two different drinks or increase serving speed.

Question 6 of 7

What do you value most?

This fine‑tunes the final recommendation between units with similar features.

Question 7 of 7

Need help figuring out which keg or tap head to use?

Frequently asked questions

Three key questions before choosing a unit

The integrated compressor makes setup much easier: plug it in, fit the tap head, and pour. It’s the most convenient option when the keg is emptied quickly, for example at a meal, over a weekend, or at a short event.

The CO₂ system adds a cylinder and regulator, but it keeps the beer in better condition when the keg will last several days. For slow consumption or when product stability is the priority, it’s usually the right solution.

If the keg is not going to be finished within 48–72 hours, the configurator steers the recommendation towards models with CO₂, because they help keep the product in better condition and prevent premature deterioration of the tapped keg.

On the other hand, if consumption is fast, a unit with an integrated compressor is usually more convenient and sufficient for that scenario.

The coupler depends on the beer brand, keg format, and connection standard. It’s not something everyone is expected to know before buying.

That’s why the configurator includes a specific question about compatibility, and the result gives you direct access to advice. If you tell us the beer or send us a photo of the keg, we’ll tell you which coupler and which accessories fit.
