Installation and commissioning

The RCF145 must be installed indoors, on a stable, level surface with sufficient ventilation. The location directly affects cooling performance, energy consumption and the service life of the unit.

• Remove packaging, protective plastics and protections before using the unit.
• Place the display cooler on a solid, flat and stable surface.
• Level the unit using the adjustable feet to reduce vibrations and improve door closure.
• Avoid direct sunlight and proximity to ovens, radiators or other heat sources.
• Maintain a minimum clearance of 20 cm from walls or other objects to promote ventilation.
• Check that the power outlet is 220-240 V / 50 Hz and has an earth connection.
• The plug must remain accessible after installation.
• In the event of a power cut, wait at least 3 minutes before switching the unit back on.
• If the unit has not been stored or transported in an upright position, let it stand for approximately 12 hours before connecting it.
• Before first use, clean shelves and interior with mild soapy water.

Correct use and beverage storage

The TEFCOLD RCF145 is intended for refrigerated storage of packaged drinks. To maintain a stable temperature, do not overload the interior and leave enough space for air to circulate between products.

• Use the display for packaged drinks: water, soft drinks, bottled beer, juices, kombucha or other ready-to-serve beverages.
• Avoid loading hot product, as it increases compressor workload and may affect the internal temperature.
• Keep the door closed whenever you do not need to access the product.
• Arrange the products neatly, without blocking the airflow.
• Adjust the temperature according to load, ambient conditions, turnover and product type.
• Use the internal LED light to enhance presentation when the unit is intended for sales or self-service.

Recommended maintenance and cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain hygiene, efficiency and the service life of the refrigerated display. Before cleaning the unit, it must be switched off and disconnected from the power supply.

• Clean the interior and exterior frequently using a damp cloth and mild soapy water.
• Do not use abrasive products or aggressive cleaners.
• Do not clean with water jets or pressure washers.
• Do not wet the switch, control panel, cable or plug.
• Clean the door gasket with water only and dry thoroughly.
• Dry the unit with a soft cloth after cleaning.
• Check that the door closes properly and that the gasket is not damaged.
• If the unit is going to be out of use for a long time, switch it off, unplug it, empty it, clean it and leave the door open to prevent odours.
• Periodic cleaning of the condenser with a vacuum cleaner or soft brush must be carried out by qualified personnel.

In projects where packaged drinks and drinks on tap are combined, it is advisable to define each function separately: bottle and can storage, keg refrigeration, beverage lines, gas, taps, water treatment, maintenance and technical cleaning.
