Installation, ventilation and start-up
The CEV435 BLACK must be installed indoors, in a dry, level room with sufficient ventilation. To maintain performance and avoid overheating, do not block the lower air intake or place it next to heat sources or direct sunlight.
- Install indoors only, in a dry and ventilated area.
- Avoid proximity to ovens, radiators, heat sources, direct sunlight or air conditioning systems.
- Leave at least 50 mm free behind and above if the unit is built in or placed close to furniture.
- Do not block the air intake on the lower panel.
- Level the unit using the adjustable feet to ensure proper closing and stable operation.
- Connect to an accessible 220–240 V / 50 Hz socket with earth connection.
- Do not connect to power strips, multi-socket bases or multipolar distribution outlets.
- If the unit has been transported lying down, leave it upright for 2 hours before switching it on.
Recommended use and temperature setting
The unit is designed to store and chill packaged drinks in bottles and cans. The electronic thermostat is factory preset and, in most installations, there is no need to change the initial parameters.
- Use for packaged drinks: beer, wine, water, soft drinks, kombucha, juices and ready-to-serve beverages.
- Avoid loading large quantities of hot or non-precooled product.
- Do not overload the interior; leave space for air to circulate between bottles and cans.
- Keep the door closed whenever you do not need to access the product.
- Use the LED lighting to enhance visual presentation in the dining room, at the bar or in the shop.
- For high-turnover projects, size the unit according to restocking rate, ambient temperature and actual service volume.
Recommended maintenance and cleaning
The TEFCOLD CEV435 BLACK has a sealed refrigeration system, so it normally does not require internal maintenance of the refrigeration circuit. Even so, preventive maintenance of the condenser is important to reduce energy consumption and extend the service life of the unit.

Important: this unit is designed to store and chill packaged drinks in bottles and cans. It is not a tap dispensing system, it does not cool beer, wine or water lines, and it does not replace a keg cooler or a walk-in cold room for product storage.
In projects where packaged drinks and drinks on tap coexist, it is advisable to define each function separately: bottle display, keg cooling, beverage lines, gas, taps, water treatment, cleaning and technical maintenance.
