John Guest equal elbow, polypropylene, 90°
Polypropylene push‑fit elbow fitting to join two tube sections of the same diameter at a 90° angle. It allows you to change the direction of a line without making a tight bend in the tube itself.
Material and available sizes
The equal elbows in this data sheet are made of polypropylene. The range includes 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 10 mm and 15 mm, as well as the 15 mm threaded variant shown in the selector.
When to use an equal elbow
It is suitable for corners, cabinets, compact equipment, and runs where bending the tube could cause pinching, tension, or an improper bend radius.
Installation
Cut both tubes square, check that they match the size of the variant and insert them fully. Leave enough length to avoid tension on the fitting.
Maintenance
Check that the tubes are not marked next to the collet and that the elbow is not bearing the weight of other components.
