ThruMometer™ inline thermometer for measuring temperature during beer brewing

Optimize homebrewing with the ThruMometer™. This corrosion‑resistant aluminum thermometer provides precise real‑time measurements, crucial for beer fermentation and cooling. With no calibration required, its smooth surface makes disinfection easy, preventing bacterial buildup. With fast response and 0.5°C accuracy, it adapts to different tubing sizes, making it ideal for controlling the specific temperatures required by yeast. It also helps save water and money, with scales in both Celsius and Fahrenheit.

The ThruMometer allows you to adjust wort and water flow rates in your plate chiller to dial in the exact wort temperature required by your yeast. The ThruMometer never needs calibration and is built for a long service life, made from heat‑treated, corrosion‑resistant aluminum.

Traditional in-line thermometers are made from a series of fittings with numerous places where bacteria can accumulate; by contrast, the entire interior of the ThruMometer is smooth, one-piece, and easy to sanitize.

Non-barbed connections are easier to clean and therefore prevent bacteria build-up. The ThruMometer is much more useful than digital or bi-metal thermometers, with a fast response, a high-conductivity aluminum body, a liquid crystal thermometer (up to 1°C response per second) and an incredible accuracy of 0.5°C.

Made from durable, hard-wearing materials, the ThruMometer guarantees accurate real-time measurements, allowing you to adjust process conditions instantly. Its ergonomic design and adaptability to different pipe sizes make it a versatile and easy-to-install accessory.

Why is temperature control so important? In brewing, accurate measurement can be the difference between an exceptional beer and a mediocre product. This thermometer is especially useful during fermentation and cooling stages, where proper temperature control is crucial to achieving optimal results.

Frequently asked questions

Is this product compatible with my setup?

It depends on the type of connector/head, threads, and tube diameter. If you provide us with your configuration or send us a photo, we can confirm compatibility.

What measurements should I check before buying?

Thread type, inner/outer tube diameter, fitting type (quick-connect/barb/threaded), and whether it’s for beer, gas, or water line.

Does it include gaskets, clamps, or the necessary accessories?

The description specifies what is included. If you need additional seals or accessories, we’ll recommend compatible options.

What material is it made of and what use is it recommended for?

The material (stainless steel, brass, etc.) is designed for food-grade and dispensing use. If you’re going to use it with another beverage or under special conditions, we’ll advise you.

Is it easy to install? What tools do I need?

It’s usually a straightforward installation, but we recommend a clean cut on the tubing, proper tightening, and leak testing. We’ll indicate the method according to the type of connection.

How do I know if the thread or fitting is the right one?

The key is to identify your system’s thread standard and connection type. If you’re unsure, send us a photo of the current part and we’ll help you choose.

What should I do if I have leaks after assembling it?

It’s usually due to a worn gasket, incorrect measurement, poorly cut tubing, or insufficient sealing. We’ll help you diagnose and fix it.

Does this component affect foam or serving flow rate?

Yes, some components affect flow and stability. If you’re having issues with foam or flow rate, we’ll help you balance pressure, temperature, and line.

How often should I check or replace gaskets and consumables?

It depends on usage and cleaning, but it’s advisable to check them regularly to avoid leaks and maintain a stable, hygienic service.

Do you offer technical support and international shipping?

Yes. We advise you before and after purchase and provide technical service. We also ship throughout Europe and to North, Central, and South America.
