Home brewing to make beer at home
The homebrewing collection brings together all the equipment you need to brew your own beer at home, from starter kits to advanced gear for more experienced brewers. These products are designed to make the process easier, with durable, hard-wearing components for reliable performance, plus accessories and spare parts to keep your setup in top condition and enjoy the experience of making your own craft beer comfortably.
To start brewing beer at home, the basics are a food-grade, well-sealed fermenter with an airlock to release CO₂ and prevent oxidation, a bottling tap and temperature control (for example, with an adhesive thermometer). You’ll also typically need a non-porous paddle, sanitiser to sterilise equipment, and bottling gear (bottles, caps and capper). For a first brew, malt extract kits make things much easier: they provide ready-to-use hopped wort and, together with yeast, sugar and water, allow you to produce typical batches (for example, ~20 L) by following the manufacturer’s instructions, with rapid wort chilling and controlled fermentation to achieve consistent results.
