Fitting to connect 3/8" (9.5 mm) gas tube to a coupler with 1/2 BSP thread, incorporating a non-return function to limit reverse flow within the line.
What the non‑return function provides
The internal valve allows better organization of the gas line and helps prevent unwanted backflow when the installation is correctly oriented. It does not replace a full assessment of the pressure system or any other safety components the installation may require.
Selection and compatibility
Check that the tube is 3/8" and that the coupler uses 1/2 BSP. The thread and the diameter must be verified independently.
Installation
Depressurize the system, cut the tube cleanly and square, insert it fully to the stop and assemble the threaded side without forcing. Respect the check valve’s functional direction and check for leaks before use.
Maintenance
Periodically check the tube retention, the condition of the threaded connection and the behaviour of the non‑return valve. If the flow is abnormal, check orientation and absence of obstructions before intervening.
