John Guest metric-to-inch converter
Straight union designed to connect 15 mm metric tube to inch-size tube. Available variants provide transitions from 15 mm to 3/8" or from 15 mm to 1/2".
Why a converter is needed
Metric and imperial sizes should not be interchanged by approximation. A 15 mm tube is not equivalent to 1/2" or 3/8"; this fitting provides the specific transition.
Applications
Useful when integrating equipment and water, marine or beverage dispensing installations that use different tubing standards.
Installation
Clearly identify each side, cut both tubes square and insert them fully to the stop. Avoid tension that tries to pull the tubes in opposite directions.
