John Guest female adapter with UNS thread
Quick-connect fitting to join a tube line to a UNS threaded connection. The current variants combine 7/16 UNS or 1/2 UNS threads with different tube sizes.
Available variants
7/16 UNS with 1/4" (6.35 mm) tube, 7/16 UNS with 3/8" (9.5 mm) tube, and 1/2 UNS with 1/2" (12.7 mm) tube.
Selection and compatibility
UNS identifies a specific thread standard. It must not be substituted with NPTF, BSP, FFL or MFL even if the connection has a similar diameter.
Installation
Depressurise, confirm the equipment thread, prepare the tube with a square cut and insert it fully. Fit the threaded part without forcing it.
Maintenance
Check mechanical stability, tube retention and absence of leaks. If you disassemble the line, inspect the tube end before reusing it.
