The Lindr Kontakt 40/K is a portable dry cooler with 2 taps, integrated air compressor and continuous 40 l/h output, designed to serve beer and other cold drinks with quick setup, compact format and performance suitable for demanding home use, events and light professional use.
The Lindr Kontakt 40/K is designed for those who need a portable 2‑tap beer tower with built‑in compressor, capable of going beyond basic home use without yet moving to a fixed solution or a much heavier unit. Lindr defines this series as a combination of the compactness of the Pygmy range and the performance and technologies of its professional coolers for restaurants and pubs.
That combination makes a lot of practical sense. It lets you serve two independent chilled drinks, with a continuous output of 40 litres per hour and a maximum capacity of 50 l/h, while maintaining a portable format with top handles. It is a very well-positioned unit for parties, events, garden parties, tastings, drink corners, temporary bars, light catering, and small or seasonal hospitality businesses.
In addition, it offers real operational advantages: built-in compressor, molecular filter, precise temperature control, taps with compensator to control the flow rate, quick connectors and a full stainless steel construction. Install Beer adds 4 metres of beer tube, 4 metres of gas/air tube and the necessary John Guest connectors to make commissioning easier.

The Kontakt 40/K works with a 3/8" beverage outlet and a 5/16" air outlet, and is designed to serve two independent cold beverages. Its natural setup is unit + beverage lines + integrated compressor air line + compatible keg coupler or couplers + keg or kegs. Install Beer also provides quick layouts for working with 1 keg or 2 kegs, using either an air compressor or CO₂.
This gives you very practical flexibility in environments where quick setup and teardown are important: advanced home, garden parties, small events, tastings, drink corners, catering, temporary bars, fairs and light or seasonal hospitality. Lindr presents it as a unit capable of covering small foodservice operations while at the same time meeting high demands for domestic and commercial service.
In addition to beer, the manufacturer refers to beer and other beverages. Even so, before buying it is advisable to confirm the real compatibility of the beverage with the circuit, pressure, cleaning system and type of service planned.
As with any dispensing system, actual performance depends on line cleanliness, condition of the coupler, correct pressure, temperature, ventilation, and condition of connectors and taps. In a two‑line unit this is even more important, because any imbalance between circuits can affect service and flow rate.
The manufacturer itself emphasizes the importance of maintaining the quality of the beverage served, and that is why these models with built-in compressor integrate a molecular filter. It is also important to follow the instructions in the manual regarding disconnecting the power before cleaning or maintenance and handling the refrigeration circuit, since it uses R290.
Yes. This is one of its key differences: it includes a built‑in air compressor with automatic pressure of 2.8–3.2 bar.
The usual configuration for this unit works with 2 taps and 2 cold beverages, allowing you to serve two independent lines.
The visible Install Beer datasheet does not state that it is included. It does list 4 metres of beer tubing, 4 metres of gas/air tubing and the necessary John Guest connectors, so it’s advisable to choose the compatible keg coupler separately if you’re not buying a complete pack.
The beverage connection is 9.5 mm (3/8") and the air connection is 8 mm (5/16"), both with Speedfit quick connector.
Yes. The quick diagram provided by Install Beer shows configurations for 1 keg and 2 kegs, with both air compressor and CO₂.
Fits very well in demanding homes, gardens, small events, tastings, light catering, temporary bars and small hospitality businesses that need a portable two-line solution.
