Product FAQs
How do I know which cap I need for my keg?
You need to identify the type of valve or connection used. The product sheet distinguishes between the A–M (Flat), G (Grundy), S–D–U (Sankey) and KeyKeg families. If you don’t know your system, send us the reference or photos of the valve before placing a bulk order.
Does the cap keep the beer sealed inside the keg?
No. The primary seal and beverage containment are provided by the keg’s valve system. The cap is an external component for protection, identification and visual tamper evidence.
How many caps are in a box?
It depends on the model: A–M Flat, 700; G Grundy, 850; S–D–U Sankey, 1,000; and KeyKeg, 1,100 units.
How many caps are on a pallet?
A–M Flat: 14,000; G Grundy: 17,000; S–D–U Sankey: 16,000; KeyKeg: 22,000 units.
Can I choose the color?
Yes. The product sheet offers color variants associated with each commercial configuration. Select the color directly in the variant selector.
Can they be customized with our logo?
GevaPlast’s documentation includes plain, printed and embossed caps. Feasibility, minimum quantities, colors and lead time must be confirmed for each customization project.
Are there caps made from recycled plastic?
Yes. GevaPlast lists a range made from 100% recycled material. Availability must be confirmed for the specific combination of cap, color and order.
Do Sankey S, D and U use the same commercial variant in this product sheet?
In the current Install Beer configuration they are grouped under the S–D–U (Sankey) variant, with 1,000 units per box or 16,000 per pallet.
Can I buy less than a full box?
This product sheet is set up for supply by full box or pallet. The available quantities are those indicated for each variant.
What is the delivery time?
The indicative lead time for this product is 3 to 4 weeks. It may vary depending on model, color, quantity, customization and manufacturing availability.
What should I send if I’m not sure about compatibility?
Specify the keg or valve manufacturer and model and, if possible, attach clear photos of the top connection. This allows us to check the configuration before a bulk order.
