Recommended use

It’s a suitable solution for bars, restaurants, temporary setups and dispense systems where compressed air acts on the keg’s inner bag without coming into contact with the drink.

Typical reference pressure for KeyKeg: 3.3 bar. The final pressure must be adjusted to the specific system, line length, height and serving conditions.

When to use air and when to use CO₂?

Compressed air is suitable for kegs with an inner bag when the driving gas does not come into contact with the drink. In conventional kegs where the gas does come into contact with the product, you must use the appropriate gas —usually CO₂ or a blend— depending on the drink and system.

Frequently asked questions

Is it suitable for KeyKeg?
Yes, it is designed especially for systems compatible with bag-in-keg formats.

Does it use oil?
No. It’s an oil-free compressor.

What connection does it have?
3/8" John Guest outlet.

Is it quiet?
The specified sound level is 62 dB(A), noticeably more suitable for service environments than a conventional workshop compressor.

Can I use it for beer in a conventional keg?
You must not use air directly on beer in a conventional keg if the air comes into contact with the drink. For those systems you must use the appropriate dispense gas.
