Original European product, 100% quality

The glass rinser with bar bracket allows you to pre-rinse glasses just before serving beer or other tap-dispensed drinks. Its cross-shaped actuator is operated by pressing the glass upside down, projecting water inside quickly and in a controlled way.

It is made of stainless steel with a polished gloss finish and is supplied with a side bracket that makes it easy to position on the edge of the bar. It is an especially practical solution when there is no drip tray with integrated glass rinser or when an independent rinsing point is needed.

Pre-rinsing must always be carried out on glasses that have already been cleaned. The glass rinser does not replace washing or sanitising the glassware.

Advantages of the glass rinser with bar bracket

  • Faster service: allows you to moisten and cool the inside of the glass immediately before filling.
  • Mechanical operation: the water is activated by pressing the glass down onto the cross-shaped actuator.
  • Side installation: the bracket is fixed to the bar edge using a lower clamp.
  • No electrical connection: operates solely using mains water pressure.
  • Professional construction: body and actuator made of stainless steel.
  • Compact connection: includes an integrated 5/16" water hose barb.
  • Multi-beverage use: suitable for beer, cider, kombucha, soft drinks and other tap-dispensed drinks.

The above dimensions correspond to the Aplimet glass rinser mechanism. Before placing the order, you must also check the available space to install the side bracket and make the water and drainage connections.

How does it work?

  1. Place a previously cleaned glass upside down on the cross-shaped actuator.
  2. Press gently to activate the water jet.
  3. Keep the pressure for a few moments to rinse the inside.
  4. Release the pressure, allow the water to drain and serve the drink immediately.

The water removes dust or small residues that may have settled after washing and moistens the inner surface of the glass before service. It must not be used to clean dirty glasses or as a substitute for a professional glasswasher.

Installation and compatibility

The bracket is designed to be placed on the side of a bar or service surface. Before installing it, the following points must be checked:

  • Sufficient space on the bar edge to accommodate and tighten the clamp.
  • Bottom access to secure the unit and connect the water inlet.
  • Availability of a cold potable water line compatible with 5/16" tubing.
  • Possibility of correctly draining the water used during rinsing.
  • Diameter and shape of glassware compatible with the 104 mm actuator.

It is recommended to install an accessible shut-off valve in the water supply. If the system pressure is high or unstable, an appropriate regulating system must be installed upstream of the glass rinser.

Scope of supply

  • Stainless-steel glass rinser.
  • Side bracket for bar mounting.
  • 5/16" water inlet barb integrated into the glass rinser.

The supply tube, shut-off valve, regulating components and the fittings required to adapt the drainage are not considered included unless expressly stated in the quotation.

Recommended applications

  • Bars, restaurants and cafés.
  • Taprooms, breweries and brewpubs.
  • Hotels and foodservice venues.
  • Event bars, catering and trade fair bars.
  • Beer, cider, kombucha or soft drink tap installations.
  • Bars without an integrated glass rinser in the drip tray.

Cleaning and maintenance

Regularly clean the actuator, the bowl and all surfaces in contact with water using a soft cloth and a suitable stainless-steel cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh products that could damage the finish.

Periodically check the water connection, seals, actuator movement and proper drainage. If the jet loses strength or shows an uneven pattern, close the water inlet before disassembling or cleaning the mechanism.

Frequently asked questions

Does the glass rinser chill the glass?

The water helps cool and moisten the inner surface, but the unit does not include any refrigeration system.

Does it replace a glasswasher?

No. It is designed to pre-rinse glasses that are already clean immediately before serving the drink.

Does it need electricity?

No. Its operation is completely mechanical and depends on the pressure available in the water line.

Can it be installed on any bar?

There must be enough space on the edge and underneath the bar to secure the bracket, connect the water and arrange the drainage. We recommend checking these conditions before placing the order.

What water connection does it use?

The glass rinser includes a 5/16" hose barb and a 1/2" BSP body thread.
