Shipping policy

This policy governs shipments managed by Install Beer S.L. via the online store, quotes, and other authorized commercial channels.

1. SHIPPING COST

The cost is calculated based on:

- Actual and volumetric weight.
- Dimensions and number of packages.
- Destination postcode and country.
- Fragility or value.
- Standard, express, or international service.
- Need for a pallet or reinforced packaging.
- Goods restrictions.
- Customs or logistics requirements.

The contractual price will be the one shown before confirming the order or the one indicated in the accepted quote.

When the system cannot reasonably calculate it, the order will be subject to review and will not be finalized until the cost has been communicated.

The latest shipping rate tables can be found at:

https://installbeer.com/en-ca/pages/shipping-charges

2. PREPARATION

Carriers’ standard collection takes place at approximately 13:00 on working days.

Orders that are available, paid, and validated before that time may be dispatched the same day, but same-day dispatch is not guaranteed.

Preparation may be delayed when:

- Items are out of stock.
- There are many different references.
- The order requires assembly or checks.
- A pallet needs to be prepared.
- Tax, technical, or customs data are missing.
- Payment is pending.
- Changes are requested.

3. INDICATIVE DELIVERY TIMES

Transit times start from dispatch.

As a reference:

- Spain Economy: 24 to 72 working hours.
- Spain Express: next working day, subject to coverage.
- Portugal: 3 to 7 working days.
- European Union: 5 to 10 working days.
- Pallets: depending on destination, carrier, and need for an appointment.
- Exports: according to quote and customs procedures.

Standard deliveries are made Monday to Friday, except public holidays.

Unless a guaranteed date is expressly confirmed, the time frames are reasonable estimates.

Where no other time frame has been agreed with a consumer, delivery will be made without undue delay and within the maximum legal period applicable.

4. CARRIERS

Install Beer works with different operators depending on the destination and the goods. Among others, the following may be used:

- GLS.
- Correos Express.
- CTT.
- UPS.
- FedEx.
- DHL.
- NTL.
- Local or equivalent operators.

The inclusion of an operator in this list does not guarantee its availability for all orders.

5. SPECIAL PRODUCTS

The following may require prior assessment or specialized transport:

- Cooling equipment.
- Keg racks and cabinets.
- Bulky towers.
- Pre-assembled equipment.
- Bottles or pressure vessels.
- Gases.
- Chemicals, aerosols, or batteries.
- Fragile or high-value goods.

Publication of a product does not mean that it can be shipped by any service or to any country.

6. PALLET DELIVERIES

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, palletized delivery is made at street level or at the point accessible to the vehicle.

It does not automatically include:

- Carrying items upstairs.
- Entry into the interior of the premises.
- Unpacking.
- Removal of the pallet.
- Installation.
- Use of a crane.
- Handling via stairs.

The customer must inform us before ordering if they need a tail lift, appointment, special vehicle, or inside delivery.

7. INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

Availability depends on the product, country, carrier, certifications, and regulations.

Shipments to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, and destinations outside the EU tax or customs territory may incur:

- Import taxes.
- IGIC or local taxes.
- Duties.
- Customs clearance fees.
- Inspections.
- Storage.
- Intermediary fees.

These amounts are not included unless the checkout, quote, or Incoterm expressly states otherwise.

The importer must provide the necessary documentation, such as NIF, VAT, EORI, address, and customs data.

8. B2B OPERATIONS AND INCOTERMS

In business-to-business operations, an Incoterm may be agreed.

The Incoterm must be expressly stated in the quote, order, or pro forma invoice.

Where Ex Works is agreed, the customer will primarily organize collection, transport, insurance, export, and import in accordance with the agreed terms.

Arranging carriage does not automatically make Install Beer the importer in the destination country.

9. TRANSFER OF RISK

When Install Beer ships goods to a consumer using a carrier proposed or contracted by Install Beer, risk passes when the consumer or a person indicated by them, other than the carrier, physically receives the goods.

If the consumer arranges their own carrier not proposed by Install Beer, risk may pass when the goods are handed over to that carrier.

In B2B operations, risk will pass in accordance with the Incoterm, quote, or agreed terms.

10. CHECKING THE DELIVERY

On receipt of the order, it is recommended to check:

- Number of packages.
- External condition.
- Impacts, moisture, punctures, or openings.
- Condition of the pallet.
- Position of the equipment.

Where visible damage exists:

- Note it on the carrier’s delivery slip.
- Take photos before opening.
- Photograph the label.
- Keep the packaging.
- Contact Install Beer as soon as possible.

Failure to make an immediate note may make it harder to claim against the carrier but does not automatically remove the consumer’s legal rights.

11. LOSS, DAMAGE, OR SHORTAGES

To report an incident, please send the following to info@installbeer.com:

- Order number.
- Affected product.
- Photos of the packaging.
- Photos of the label.
- Photos or video of the damage.
- List of missing products or packages.

If loss or impossibility of delivery is confirmed, the appropriate replacement, reshipment, or refund will be offered.

12. FAILED DELIVERY

The customer must provide a complete address and working telephone number and email.

When delivery fails due to an incorrect address, repeated absence, unjustified refusal, lack of documentation, or breach attributable to the customer, the actual and reasonable costs of return and reshipment may be charged.

Simply refusing the package does not necessarily amount to a valid notice of withdrawal.
